World Cup | Serbia confirm absences of Nikola Jokic and Vasilije Micic

As expected, Nikola Jokic is not part of the (expanded) list of 20 players just announced by Serbia for the 2023 World Cup. Nikola Kalinic, Vladimir Lucic and Vasilije Micic are also absent…

Despite the arguments of Bogdan Bogdanovic, who will be the leader of Serbia, and coach Svetislav Pesic, the MVP of the last Finals therefore intends to rest after a long season, when he also thought that the World Cup fell at the time of an important family meeting (wedding?) for him.

In any case, it is a weakened Serbia that will travel to the Philippines, to join group B along with China, Puerto Rico and South Sudan.
