World Cup | Jamal Murray and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with Canada!

Opponent of France in the first round of the World Cup, Canada unveiled their pre-selection, and it’s tough. Now coached by Jordi Fernandez, assistant to Mike Brown at the Kings, Canada has invited 18 players, including several NBA stars since Jamal Murray and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are part of this list, as are RJ Barrett and Dillon Brooks.

Other NBAers include Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Oshae Brissett, Luguentz Dort, Cory Joseph, Kelly Olynyk and Dwight Powell. What to present with a solid major five, and a dense rotation.

Among the notable absences, there is Bennedict Mathurin, Chris Boucher and still Andrew Wiggins…

The rest of the Canadian squad consists of Kyle Alexander, Trae Bell-Haynes, Zach Edey, Melvin Ejim, Kevin Pangos, Kassius Robertson, Phil Scrubb and Thomas Scrubb.

Group A (Manila) : Philippines, Italy, Dominican Republic, Angola.

Group B (Manila) : Serbia, Puerto Rico, China, South Sudan.

Group C (Manila) : United States, Greece, New Zealand, Jordan.

Group D (Manila) : Lithuania, Montenegro, Mexico, Egypt.

Group E (Okinawa) : Australia, Germany, Finland, Japan.

Group F (Okinawa) : Slovenia, Venezuela, Georgia, Cape Verde.

Group G (Jakarta) : Spain, Brazil, Iran, Ivory Coast.

Group H (Jakarta) : France, Canada, Latvia, Lebanon.
