World Cup 2023 | The French team unveiled on France Télévisions

It’s not just Didier Deschamps who has the right to the honors of TV sets to reveal his selection for a World Cup. On June 28, Vincent Collet will be on the set of “All Sports” to give the names of the pre-selection for the 2023 World Cup. The main questions concern the pivot position since, potentially, France could present themselves with Rudy Gobert, Victor Wembanyama and Joel Embiid. Or none of the three…

The announcement will take place at 8:45 p.m., at the headquarters of France Télévisions, then the coach will answer questions from journalists. At his side, Boris Diaw, the General Manager of Team France Basket.

Before leaving for Asia, and more precisely in Jakarta, the Olympic vice-champions of Tokyo will play five preparation matches between the end of July and mid-August, before two other matches still to be determined a few days before the start of the competition.

The French team will play in Jakarta

Vincent Collet and his players will be reunited from July 24 in Pau, where they will face Tunisia on July 27. On August 2, it will be against Montenegro, in Montpellier. Then, two matches in Orléans, on August 7 and 9, against Venezuela and Lithuania. Finally, the Blues will go to Lithuania for a rematch on August 11.

The World Cup will be played in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines between August 25 and September 10, and France will face Canada, Latvia and Lebanon in the group stage.
