Author of the best season of his career with the Knicks in 2023/24 (15.5 points with 40% 3-point success), Donte DiVincenzo fails to find the same sensations in the Wolves : only 9.6 points on average with an average 33% 3-point success.
Having become a substitute in Minneapolis, where he is used a little less, the rear could, therefore, represent an interesting bargaining chip for the franchise, while rumors have started to circulate around his name. Especially since his contract is rather attractive: between 11 and 12 million dollars per year until 2027.
Nevertheless, Mark Stein already reports that the Wolves do not intend to part with Donte DiVincenzo who, remember, arrived in Minnesota as part of the transfer of Karl-Anthony Towns two months ago.
Especially since the “3&D” profile of “DDV” seems suited to players like Anthony Edwards, Julius Randle or even Rudy Gobert and, as it stands, Minny’s “front office” therefore wishes to give time to his group.
