Wolves lose Karl-Anthony Towns

It’s never reassuring when a player gets injured on their own, and that’s the case with Karl Anthony Towns against the Wizards. Wolves’ interior crumbled in the 3rd quarter as they tried to come back in defence.

On a support, he winces, and he falls to the ground. We obviously think of the Achilles tendon, especially since his teammates help him leave the field, but on the side of the medical staff, we are not so pessimistic.

According to ESPN, the player will undergo an MRI to know the severity of the injury and especially the location, but the Wolves believe that the tendon is not affected, and that it is rather a lesion in the right calf. A priori, it is not a simple contracture, but rather a breakdown, and its absence will be counted in weeks.
