Wolves give Vit Krejci a chance

The Minnesota franchise yesterday formalized the signing of Vit Krejci (23 years old, 2m03). The Czech winger will have a new opportunity to show himself in the NBA after a mixed season in Atlanta, where he played 29 games for minimal performance.

The terms of the agreement are not yet known. The player can claim the third and final “two-way contract” as a guaranteed contract.

The Wolves inherit a complementary player at position 3, focused on outside shooting. He notably showed good things during his rookie season in the cocoon of Oklahoma City, in 2021/22.

More recently, he distinguished himself with the national team at the Olympic pre-qualifying tournament co-organized in Poland and Estonia, with 14 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game.

How to read the stats? MJ = matches played; Min = Minutes; Shots = Successful shots / Attempted shots; 3pts = 3-points / 3-points attempted; LF = free throws made / free throws attempted; Off = offensive rebound; Def=defensive rebound; Tot = Total rebounds; Pd = assists; Fte: Personal fouls; Int = Intercepts; Bp = Lost balls; Ct: Against; Pts = Points.
