No surprises from Wolves. The Athletic reports that the Minnesota franchise activates the option of the fourth year of the contracts ofAnthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels. The two young players are thus linked to the club until the end of the 2024 season.
Having become one of the cornerstones of Wolves, the first will thus receive just under 11 million dollars this season and 13.5 million dollars the next. Before, no doubt, being extended at a high price.
Much less paid than his teammate (2 million this year, then 3.9 the following year), the second was able to get a glimpse of his value this summer. Wolves have indeed battled extremely hard to not include him in the trade to bring in Rudy Gobert, and keep him as the fifth incumbent.
The production and progression of the two young players will be one of the challenges of the coming season for Wolves.
