Wizards ready to keep Brian Keefe?

And if the Wizards kept Brian Keefe beyond this season? Appointed in January to replace Wes Unseld Jr. who left for the offices, the 48-year-old technician will appear, according to ESPNamong the candidates for the position of permanent coach of the Washington team.

For now, the capital franchise has parted ways with several members of its “coaching staff”, but not Brian Keefe, nor his assistant David Vanterpool. Which suggests that she could extend their lease in DC, supposed to end at the end of this 2023/24 financial year, completed with only 15 victories and 67 defeats (and an 8-31 since the change of coach), for an ugly 14th place in the Eastern Conference.

Other names will be targeted soon by the leaders of Washingtonin order to permanently install a new coach, but Brian Keefe therefore has every chance.

No doubt because some of his choices were appreciated and the young players in the group, including Bilal Coulibaly obviously, were able to progress under his orders, in defense and in the state of mind, the combativeness.
