With its fringes, this Kai 1 brought luck to Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving And Luka Doncic made the Wolves dizzy on their land on Wednesday evening, allowing Dallas to take home advantage from Game 1. To put all the chances on his side, Kyrie Irving took the opportunity to wear a brand new model of the Kai 1 in homage to his Indian roots coming from his mother, originally from the Sioux tribe called “Standing Rock”.

The color called “Chief Hélà” refers to the Lakota name of the Mavericks playmaker. The upper is presented in brown with beige finishes, to highlight the player's logo on the tongue, or on the contours of the scratch covering the laces, but also the covering of the outsole. There are also fringed patterns on the back, symbolizing ancestral Indian tunics.

The suspense remains as to a possible release of the Kai 1 “Chief Hélà” for the general public. Currently, all four colors of the Kai 1 are out of stock.
