With a record in her pocket, Caitlin Clark still gets the better of Angel Reese

In front of Shaquille O'Neal and Sue Bird or Megan Rapinoe, in a Wintrust Arena full of 9,445 people, Caitlin Clark shone again. The Indiana Fever player compiled 31 points (career high) and 12 assists in her last duel of the season against Angel Reese.

The latter and the Chicago Sky had started the game very well, but Indiana will find spaces and 3-point address to quickly reverse the trend. Then, Caitlin Clark and her teammates rolled out.

“If we take away the first six minutes, I think we were very good. We defended well. I'm proud of this group.”, delivers the rookie phenomenonafter this 100-81 victory.

Fever in balance

Angel Reese (10 points and 11 rebounds) again had a double-double and broke the record for rebounds for a rookie, with 399 grabs. But this defeat and the performance of her opponent offer the rookie of the year trophy on a platter to Caitlin Clark. Because Indiana won three out of four games against Chicago and the Fever has a balanced record (16 wins for 16 losses), with a probable place in the playoffs, while the Sky is struggling (11-20).

“This victory is important for us. It counts almost double when we are fighting for the playoffs”Clark concludes.
