Will Joe Harris have to undergo a second ankle operation? | NBA

Absent from the courts since last November, Joe Harris is having a very complicated season… not to say downright nightmarish!

Hit in the left ankle, the Nets outside shooting specialist underwent a first operation which aimed to remove a piece of bone from his left ankle. At the time, this decision was made because his injury was progressing very slowly and surgery was the safest and fastest way to fix the problem.

Unfortunately, two months later and after several relapses, Joe Harris has still not returned to the game and, according to the latest rumors reported by ESPN, it is very likely that the sniper will have to go back to the pool table for a second operation. In fact, his camp including his agent Mark Bartelstein will leave the next two weeks to assess the evolution of his ankle.

In case it doesn’t work out, Joe Harris will go back to the operation box, which further postpones the possible return date of the 3-point shooting champion who was shooting at 11 points this season (at 47% success rate behind the arch).

Another problem also for the Nets, who desperately lack continuity in this campaign.
