Which players can be transferred from December 15?

December 15 is an important date in the NBA executives' calendar. Indeed, it is from today that most of the players who signed a contract during the last free agency can be exchanged.

80 additional players can now be included in exchanges, which (unofficially) marks the start of the transfer period. That represents nearly 20% of basketball players playing in the NBA.

Among the biggest salaries are Fred VanVleet ($40.8 million this season), Kyrie Irving ($37 million), Khris Middleton ($29.3 million), Dillon Brooks ($22.6 million), Draymond Green ($22.3 million), Bruce Brown ( 22 million) which can thus be exchanged by their respective teams from today.

Six more Lakers now transferable

However, it is perhaps at the Lakers that the situation is most observed because six players become transferable: Cam Reddish, Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood, Taurean Prince, Gabe Vincent and especially D'Angelo Russell.

The latter would necessarily be part of a “package” to get your hands on Zach LaVine, for example. Even if the “Purple & Gold” will have to wait until January 15 to have all their “assets” usable in an exchange, since Rui Hachimura and Austin Reaves can only be transferred on this date.

In any case, here is the complete list of transferable players from December 15.
