Imagine a college team of twenty-somethings beating up a team of NBA veterans. And not just any veterans, these were All-Stars! That's what happened in the summer of 1984. And not just once.
To prepare for the Los Angeles Olympics, at a time when NBA players were not participating, the American Federation selected players playing in the NCAA. To gauge them and prepare them, the Federation had them face NBA player selections.
