All rookies last season, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Usman Garuba and Josh Christopher, who have just started their second year in the league, already know that their third year is now guaranteed.
The Rockets have indeed, unsurprisingly, activated the options for the 2023/24 season of their four young talents, none of whom are yet 21 years old. They are therefore the future of the Texas franchise.
Especially the former, who is the team’s second-leading scorer this season with 19.9 points per game. Another satisfaction: Alperen Sengun who made a good start to the second year with 15 points and 10 rebounds on average.
For Usman Garuba and Josh Christopher, on the other hand, the first two weeks of competition are more difficult, with less than thirteen minutes offered per game by Stephen Silas.
