Warriors new recruit Cory Joseph

It would seem that the Warriors need to strengthen position 1 since after Chris Paul, it is Cory Joseph’s turn to join the 2022 NBA champions. The former teammate of Tony Parker at Spurs and Killian Hayes at Pistons is hired for a season, probably at minimum wage, even if ESPN don’t specify.

After failing to recruit Eric Gordon, the leaders of Golden State have therefore chosen to recruit a third playmaker, and Joseph will take the place of Ty Jerome, who left for the Cavaliers. With a Curry called to play more without the ball and a Paul who will necessarily be saved in the regular season, Joseph should still recover 15 to 20 minutes per game.

He’s an experienced player and a team player, and he should blend into the Warriors collective without too many problems.

How to read the stats? MJ = matches played; Min = Minutes; Shots = Shots made / Shots attempted; 3pts = 3-points / 3-points attempted; LF = free throws made / free throws attempted; Off = offensive rebound; Def= defensive rebound; Tot = Total bounces; Pd = assists; Fte: Personal fouls; Int = Intercepts; Bp = Lost bullets; Ct: Counters; Points = Points.
