Warriors don’t blame Jordan Poole

While the Warriors had managed to pick up the score on a 14-0 in three minutes, the Lakers kept a cool head to finally win 117-112. Golden State came close to making the heist, and their hopes were dashed on a 3-point shot from Jordan Poole from 9 yards. A shot taken perhaps a little quickly when there were about ten seconds left to play.

Should he have waited a bit? Should he have come closer?

“Jordan did a very good job. I saw they were taking Steph from midfield so I knew someone was going to be wide open if we could just get the ball out and Steph did a great job.” says Steve Kerr. “He got the ball out on the two-man and Jordan was wide open. It was a great opportunity, and you know, it’s a shot he can make. So I’m very happy with this possession and, again, Jordan had already made all six of his 3-point shots. So it’s a very good shot for us. »

At Klay Thompson, transparent in the second half, we insist on the performance of Jordan Poole, author of 21 points and 6 assists with a 6 of 11 from 3-pointers.

“Jordan played very well. He kept us in the game. He gave us a huge boost off the bench. He was fantastic, and I knew he was going to bounce back. He played magnificently. »

This is what Draymond Green also remembers. “I found him very good… At the start of the match, he missed two shots, but we need him to take them. He started doing it, and he was very good. I think it’s a series that suits him, and it’s great for us. »
