Hours after Ukrainians Alex Len and Svi Mykhailiuk released a statement in support of their compatriots and condemning Russia’s invasion, the Nuggets and Kings observed a minute’s silence in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and the Sacramento kingpin .

” A great tragedy has befallen our dear homeland, Ukraine. We categorically condemn war. Ukraine is a peaceful sovereign state populated by people who want to decide their own destiny. We pray for our families, our friends, our loved ones and all the people who are on Ukrainian territory. We hope for an end to this terrible war as soon as possible.
