Vit Krejci returns to the Hawks

A few months after being released by the Hawks, Vit Krejci (23 years old, 2m03) is coming back. Passed by the Iowa Wolves, the G-League team of Minnesota, the Czech finally recovered a “two-way contract” in Georgia, ESPN announcementthe Atlanta franchise releasing Miles Norris to make room for him.

The 37th choice of the 2020 Draft therefore gets a new chance, even though he only played one game with the Iowa Wolves, for 5 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds in 20 minutes.

However, three years after his Draft, we have seen very little of him on the pitches of the Great League. Arriving in Oklahoma City injured, due to a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee, he had undergone rehabilitation in the G-League, after arriving from Zaragoza. Signed for several seasons by the Thunder in September 2021, he ultimately only spent one season in OKC, being traded to Atlanta, in exchange for Moe Harkless, a year later.

Here again, it only remained for a year, for a very limited production, before being released last August. But a few months later, here he is back with Trae Young and his gang.

NBA Stats: 3.8 points at 41% success including 31% from distance, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15 minutes on average
