Vincent Poirier withdraws from the Olympic Games

There French Basketball Federation announces that Vincent Poirier injured his left ankle on Friday, and the duration of his unavailability prevents him from continuing his preparation with the French team. In other words, the former Real Madrid pivot is out of the Olympic Games, and it is a hard blow for the player since he had already missed the last World Cup, following Vincent Collet's choice of take Matthias Lessort, even injured, to Asia.
