Vince Williams Jr. can't get out of the Grizzlies infirmary

Bad start to the season for Vince Williams Jr.. Absent at the start of the campaign due to a left shin problem, the full-back returned for three games, before severely twisting his ankle…

It was four weeks ago, and the Grizzlies announced a four-week absence for the reveal of the final season of Memphis (10.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists). Except that the VCU alumnus is actually not ready to resume at all, and his club now announces that he will be absent for three to six more weeks!

In the worst case, we will therefore find it in February. A hell of an additional setback for those who hoped to confirm their performances from last season, within a group which found its leaders and its ambitions.

Vince Williams Jr. will now have to reintegrate a workforce which will already have its automatisms, with a particularly dense rotation on positions 2/3 with Desmond Bane, John Konchar, Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, Jaylen Wells or even Jake LaRavia who must already share the available minutes.

With 19 victories for 9 defeats, Ja Morant's team is however in 2nd place in the Western Conference.
