Quin Snyder likes to surround himself internationally and the Hawks coach proves it once again since L’Equipe announces that he just picked up Bryan George to run the Atlanta franchise’s video department.
A great opportunity for the 34-year-old Frenchman, in charge of video at Asvel since 2020 and in the French team since 2017. The native of Saint-Malo notably participated in the 2019 World Cup (bronze), the Games 2021 Olympics (silver) as well as at the EuroBasket (2022), where his preparation and analysis work was noticed.
As noted by L’Equipe, Bryan George also arrives high in the hierarchy of Quin Snyder’s staff, which is not common for an assistant who has never worked in the NBA before.
Hired for three years, he notably joins Igor Kokoskov in the new staff set up at the Hawks.
