While battling injuries on the basketball court, Victor Oladipo must also battle his former financial adviser, James “Jay Belly” Henderson, in court.

The Daily Beast announces as well as the back of the Heat launched a discreet criminal procedure, for more than a year, in order to recover approximately 1.3 million dollars, which he accuses his former financial adviser of having extracted from him.

However, everything seemed to work between the two men. Hired in 2007, James Henderson had notably helped Victor Oladipo to become co-owner of a record company and to start producing films, also signing advertising contracts with Motorola and Hulu. Victor Oladipo and James Henderson had also invested in the New Zealand Breakers, an Australian basketball championship team and the former Magic and Pacers, talented crooner singer, had been able to produce several personal albums.

Except that according to Victor Oladipo, James Henderson ended up confusing his bank account with his, first transferring $330,000 to buy a house in Orlando in January 2020.

So the false checks multiplied, Victor Oladipo realized the shenanigans of his financial adviser and dismissed him, his replacement discovering the extent of the fraudulent maneuvers. In addition to buying the house, the basketball player accuses his former financial partner of taking an additional $900,000 from him for various expenses, including investing in a New York “strip club”…
