Victim of a burglary, Bobby Portis appeals to the population

Bobby Portis had a bad evening on Saturday, with the feeling of having been cheated twice. First there was Donovan Mitchell's basket scored a tenth of a second from the buzzer, allowing Cleveland to win on the wire. Then there was the return home, where more bad news awaited him since the player had been robbed!

The strong-tempered interior began by filing a complaint but did not want to stop there. Yesterday, he took to his phone to address the local community to ask them to help him find the perpetrators of these misdeeds, also sharing an extract from a surveillance camera.

“For the past four and a half years, I have considered Milwaukee my home. I grew up here. I came here as a boy and became a man. The love I received here from you is something I have never felt before in my NBA career”, he declared on camera. “I always felt like I had to return all that love to you. I tried to help the community and make Milwaukee a better place (…). I know we started the season horrible, but while I was at my game yesterday, I had a visit to the house, and they took most of my most prized possessions. If you have any information on this subject, please send it to info@bobbyportis.com. Any information that will allow the return of each of my possessions will be generously rewarded. Keep me posted, thank you.”

The player thinks he was targeted, perhaps by people he knows, because the burglars intervened at the start of the match against the Cavaliers and they seemed to be guided by someone on the phone. In addition to the police, the two burglars risk in any case having a bunch of Bucks fans after them.
