The Chicago Bulls have decided to create their “Ring of Honor”, a sort of private Hall Of Fame, with several events for the induction of the first members of this local Pantheon.
This January 12, on the occasion of the Warriors' reception, 13 personalities and the team from the 1995/96 season, which won 72 matches in the regular season, will be in the spotlight. The club will celebrate Phil Jackson, Jerry Krause, Artis Gilmore, Jerry Sloan, Toni Kukoc, Bob Love, Chet Walker, Johnny “Red” Kerr, Tex Winter, Dick Klein, Steve Kerr, as well as of course Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.
And to mark the occasion, the franchise called on prestigious personalities in order to write the presentation texts of the different players, coaches, managers and journalists inducted.
This is the former president of the United States, Barack Obamawho wrote the blurb for Michael Jordan, when Magic Johnson took care of Scottie Pippen's. Eddie Veddersinger and guitarist of the group Pearl Jam, took care of that of Dennis Rodman when Pau Gasol took up the pen for Toni Kukoc!
