After the departures of Alex Jensen and Irv Roland, the Jazz and Will Hardy needed to recruit to fill their bench. According to information from Marc Steinthe Salt Lake City franchise continues to advance in its recruitment, with the arrival of Chad Forcier.
The latter is added to three names mentioned in recent days to sit next to Will Hardy: Mike Williams, Rick Higgins and Scott Morrison. No Ettore Messina then.
Of the four, Chad Forcier has the most impressive resume. The assistant has been on the NBA benches since 2001, after starting in Detroit, before going to Indiana and especially San Antonio, with Gregg Popovich, between 2007 and 2016. Then there was Orlando, Memphis and finally Milwaukee , since 2019. He has therefore won two NBA titles, in 2014 with the Spurs and 2021 with the Bucks.
Mike Williams had been in Washington since 2018, when Rick Higgins worked with the Magic and the Rockets in recent seasons. Scott Morrison played alongside Brad Stevens in Boston between 2018 and 2021.
