Utah still deprived of Jordan Clarkson

The Jazz certainly didn't need that… The Salt Lake City franchise is deprived of Jordan Clarkson for at least the next two weeks due to an injury to the right biceps femoris, one of the hamstring muscles located in the thigh.

The former best 6th man in the league was injured in the right thigh on Nov. 27 against the Pelicans, then experienced additional hamstring discomfort during Monday night's loss to the Thunder. The MRI he had revealed a contracture in the area.

His state of health will be accordingly reassessed in two weeks. A tile for the 31-year-old player who had already missed three matches between the end of November and the beginning of December. He had taken part in his team's last two meetings, still being visibly embarrassed (only 7 points on average at 23% on shots…).

Before experiencing this big drop in performance, the team's second best scorer had averaged 23 points (45%) and 5 assists at the beginning of November, over nine games.

His absence, coupled with that of Lauri Markkanen, risks plunging this team a little further, which remains on five defeats in six matches. With 7 victories, including only one away, and 16 defeats, Utah only occupies 12th place in the West.
