Usman Garuba is coming to the Warriors… soon to be followed by Dwight Howard?

The Warriors have two spots left in their squad and they are looking to strengthen under the circle, to support Kevon Looney, Draymond Green and Dario Saric, the only three professional interiors on the roster.

According to The Athletica lead leads to Dwight Howard, who will meet the Bay club next week!

At 37, the eight-time All-Star (2007–2014) and NBA champion (2020) with the Lakers is coming off a season in Taiwan, since he did not find a folding seat in the Big League last season. But lately, he has repeated his desire to return to the NBA, notably making appeals to Mike Brown’s Kings.

While waiting to know if they sign the three-time best defender of the year (2009–2011), the Warriors have already signed Usman Garuba via a “two-way contract”, which will allow him to shuttle between NBA and G-League.

Transferred from Houston to Atlanta this summer, the interior was then sent to Oklahoma City, where he hoped to bounce back. A return to Real Madrid had even been mentioned but, at 21, the Spaniard therefore remained in the United States to try to truly launch his career across the Atlantic in Stephen Curry’s gang.
