Unsurprisingly, Cooper Flagg commits to Duke

Unanimously considered the best high school student in the United States, and current favorite for first place in the 2025 Draft, Cooper Flagg (2m03, 16 years old) was logically extremely courted by American universities, even though he had skipped a class in order to to be able to join the NCAA from 2024, and therefore to be able to join the NBA in 2025.

Overall, everyone expected to see him join Duke, and thus evolve under the orders of Jon Scheyer, even if Connecticut tried everything to snatch him from the clutches of the Blue Devils.

Kansas was also interested but Cooper Flagg ultimately pushed aside Bill Self’s team to visit the campuses of Duke and Connecticut, before to opt for Durham University after a second visit.

Not really a surprise, especially in relation to his work with Jayson Tatum, formerly of Duke…

Modern winger, with monstrous defensive potential, Cooper Flagg impressed everyone during the last Peach Jam, the final tournament of the EYBL season (the AAU tournament sponsored by Nike), by compiling mind-blowing averages: 25.4 points, 13 rebounds, 5.7 passes, 6.9 blocks and 1.4 interceptions per game!
