TyTy Washington Jr. bounces back in Phoenix

One more leader to Phoenixsince ESPN announces the signing of TyTy Washington Jr. in Arizona. He inherits a “two-way contract” and will therefore share his playing time between the NBA and the G-League.

Drafted by the Rockets in 29th position in 2022, the player knows the region very well and is returning to his roots, as he was born in Phoenix and attended two high schools in Arizona, before heading to Kentucky for college.

At the SunsTHE dragster will have everything to prove and he will face competition from Tyus Jones and Monte Morris at point guard, even Collin Gillespie, not to mention Devin Booker, obviously.

Still young, TyTy Washington Jr. has so far played for two franchises in the league: the Rockets in 2022/23, then the Bucks in 2023/24. In Texas and Wisconsin, he was unable to stand out (only 3.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 42 games), having to accept each time a role away from the ball to which he had to get used over time.
