TyTy Washington Jr. at revival in Milwaukee

TyTy Washington Jr will have quickly rebounded after his ousting from the Thunder where he will not have played any game in the end.

Drafted by Memphis last year, the point guard was immediately sent to Minnesota and then to Houston, where he played 31 NBA games. He was then traded to the Hawks and then to the Thunder this summer in the trade involving Patty Mills, and Oklahoma City ultimately decided not to keep him.

It was therefore Milwaukee who jumped at the chance by having him sign a “two-way contract”. The Bucks now have their three players on a two-way contract for the 2023/24 season, also with Omari Moore and Lindell Wigginton. But above all, the formation of Giannis Antetokounmpo is devoid of a pure playmaker to support Jrue Holiday, Jevon Carter having signed for the Bulls while Goran Dragic was not retained.

TyTy Washington Jr will therefore have an opportunity to show up, although Milwaukee should also look into another alternative on the position. During his rookie season, he had especially shone in the G-League with 23 points and 6 average assists in 18 games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
