Tyrese Maxey and OG Anunoby ready for revenge?

Two days after challenging each other in an “old-school” match because it was particularly defensive (79-73), the Knicks and the Sixers meet again this Tuesday, still at Madison Square Garden, and there could be two major comebacks during this new clash.

So, ESPN already indicates that Tyrese Maxey, absent for almost ten days, has left the concussion protocol and will therefore finally be able to return to the courts. Without his All-Star guard (26.0 points, 6.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds), but also without Joel Embiid obviously, Philadelphia conceded three defeats in four matches, and ranks 6th in the East (36-28).

Afterwards, The Athletic specifies for its part that OG Anunoby was expected in uniform with new York this Tuesday, at the earliest. Hampered by an elbow injury since the end of January, the winger (15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 interceptions) would thus strengthen a team ranked 4th in the East (37-27) and which has accumulated eight victories and ten defeats in his absence.

Two good news in perspective for the Knicks and the Sixers, fighting for a place in the Top 4 of their conference with the Magic, the Pacers and the Heat.
