Tyrese Haliburton distributes the caviar and knocks out the Knicks

RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley transferred, but OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn not yet arrived, the Knicks find themselves stripped when facing Tyrese Haliburton's Pacers.

It didn't take that much from the leader of Indianapolis, who continued to feed his shooters, as in the previous match against the Bulls, finished with 21 points and 20 assists. The former King thus dissected the New York aids to place Myles Turner, Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin in the best conditions.

Result: a superb 23/43 behind the 3-point line, and the Pacers inexorably escaping.

However, Donte DiVincenzo fought to the end, exploding his career high with 38 points, but Indiana was too rhythmic, and too skillful. The Pacers thus have a third consecutive victory (140-126), regaining momentum after their hangover following the NBA Tournament.

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER

– Haliburton History. After his 21-point, 20-assist game against the Bulls, Tyrese Haliburton followed up with 22 points and 23 assists against the Knicks. He is only the third player in history to chain two “double double-doubles” in the points and assists categories, after Magic Johnson and John Stockton. His 23 assists are a franchise record tied, with Jamaal Tinsley previously reaching that mark in 2001.

– Evan Fournier played again. He had only played one match this season, on November 17. With the transfer of RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, the Knicks' back lines were depopulated and Tom Thibodeau therefore revived the Frenchman. A return to the game necessarily delicate, Evan Fournier logically being rusty, like this layup which ends in an airball. He finished with 10 points at 3/10 shooting, 2 assists and 3 interceptions in 17 minutes.
