Two weeks of absence for Trey Lyles

The racket of Kings relies more than ever on Domantas Sabonis, as a new interior joins the Californian infirmary. After Sasha Vezenkov (ankle), it's like this Trey Lyles who must stop, but his period of unavailability remains shorter than that of his teammate, because he will miss two weeks for a sprain of a cruciate ligament in his left knee, contracted Tuesday evening against the Bucks.

One more blow for Sacramentobecause the Canadian is an important member of Mike Brown's rotation: 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds on average in 20 minutes, and 45% shooting (including 38% at 3-points) and 70% shooting.

Without the versatile Trey Lyles (nor Sasha Vezenkov), it is obviously Domantas Sabonis who will have the mission of carrying the Kings racket on his shoulders until the end of March, in the company of players like JaVale McGee and Alex Len, but also Harrison Barnes and Keegan Murray.

Currently 6th in the West (38-27), the franchise is fighting to qualify directly for the playoffs, without going through the play-in, while maintaining its place in the Top 6 ahead of Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles or Golden State.
