Twelve charges brought against Jaxson Hayes | NBA

After the California police force estimated that the arrest of Jaxson Hayes had been carried out in the rules, the pivot of the Pelicans was indicted on Monday following his muscular arrest last summer in Los Angeles. According to the file, twelve charges were brought against the player, including those of domestic violence, rebellion at the time of the arrest and assault and battery against a police officer. The other charges relate to the grounds of sequestration and vandalism, or even intrusion.

On July 28, 2021, in the middle of the night, the Los Angeles police went to the home of the pivot of the Pelicans after an alert given for suspicion of a marital dispute. A fight had broken out between the player and one of the officers, and he was facing criminal charges for refusing to comply and injuring a police officer.

At the end of August, we learned that it was the cousin of Hayes’ companion who had informed the police. She had sent him several text messages where she explained that she was scared. On the spot, Jaxson Hayes had initially cooperated with the police, but it was when they forbade him to return home that the fight broke out.

The pivot will be presented to a judge on February 15 to inform him of the charges against him.
