TV audience | Another big score for Warriors-Lakers

After already providing strong numbers in their epic series against the Kings in the first round, the Warriors continue to draw viewers to this conference semi-final with the tunes of clash of the titans between the Warriors of Stephen Curry and the LeBron James Lakers. In terms of viewership, this series is the first since the 2018 Western Conference Finals between the Warriors and Rockets averaged at least seven million viewers each game.

Broadcast on TNT, Game 5 for its part still recorded a very good audience with 7.55 million viewers on average. This is a little better than during Game 4 (7.52 million), and it is above all a record for a Game 5 of the first or second round broadcast on cable since a Lakers-Thunder in 2012 (Game 5 at 8.15 million) .

By way of comparison, when it comes to the conference semi-finals, no other game has exceeded 5.38 million viewers. It was on ABC, during Game 1 between the Knicks and the Heat.
