Tristan Thompson continues his adventure with the Cavaliers

At 33 years old, Tristan Thompson is obviously no longer the double-double machine he was a few years ago, but he remains one of the most appreciated and respected players in the Riders. Therefore, we learn by ESPN that he agreed to renew for a year, probably at the minimum salary, with his (almost) always frankness.

Chosen by Cleveland In 4th position during the 2011 Draft, “TT” then played there for ten seasons, averaging 9.0 points and 8.3 rebounds over more than 600 games. Winning, along the way, a championship title in 2016 and playing in three other finals (2015, 2017, 2018).

Also playing for Boston, Sacramento, Indiana, Chicago and Los Angeles between 2020 and 2023, without really shining (6.8 points and 6.5 rebounds), Tristan Thompson finally returned to Ohio a year ago. Unfortunately, his second stint with the Cavs (3.3 points and 3.6 rebounds) was marred by his suspension for violating the league's anti-doping regulations.

For his eleventh season in Cleveland, the Canadian will continue to accompany Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Georges Niang and Dean Wade in the local racket.
