Tristan Thompson back in Cleveland!

Tristan Thompson isn’t done with the NBA yet! Recruited by the Lakers to participate in the last playoffs after a blank season, the Canadian pivot only played 32 minutes for a fairly average performance, but The Athletic announces that he is returning home to Cleveland!

It was here that he was drafted in 2011 and where he remained until 2020, culminating in the 2016 NBA championship title. Tristan Thompson signed on for one year, and as in his previous stops, in Boston, Sacramento, Indiana, Chicago then LA, his role will be to bring his experience and a solid rotation to position 5.

Within a team which will try to continue its rise in the hierarchy in the East, its role will notably be to support the twin towers of the Cavaliers, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen but also Damian Jones, arrived in July to complete the racket from Cleveland.
