Trajan Langdon to reteam with JR Holden in Detroit

Now at the helm of the Pistons, in the chair of president of the franchise, Trajan Langdon continues to make adjustments. Troy Weaver, the GM, has been sidelined and Michael Blackstone, the vice president of the Pelicans, is targeted to join his former colleague in Michigan.

And after Yahoo! Sportsit is now JR Holden who will find the Pistons offices. We say rediscovery because he has already passed through Detroit, in an international scouting role.

Before starting a management career, he played for CSKA Moscow, winning two Euroleagues with a certain… Trajan Langdon. Then, he went to Detroit, then Philadelphia in 2018, to become a scout there.

He only stayed there for one season before going to Brooklyn in 2019. At the Nets, JR Holden was staff director in charge of player development until 2022, before becoming the team's GM. of G-League, the Long Island Nets. For the moment, however, his precise role within the Detroit organization chart is unknown.

It is in any case a third loss in a few weeks for the Brooklyn franchise, after the departures of Jeff Peterson and Ryan Gisriel, who decided to join the Hornets.
