Tony Parker dreams of seeing Spurs face ASVEL in France…

And if the Spurs of Victor Wembanyama traveled to France to meet theASVEL of Tony Parker in the near future ? In any case, this is the Hall of Famer’s “dream”, as reported by Tonic Radio.

I dream here, at the Arena, of an ASVEL/Spurs match. I already have the agreement from Spurs, now we have to discuss with the NBA », he announced on the sidelines of the presentation of the new LDLC Arena, which will host its first match on November 23 in the Euroleague.

President and shareholder of ASVEL, Tony Parker therefore intends to bring the NBA back to Rhone lands as quickly as possible. “Bring back”, because there was already a clash between Spurs and ASVEL in 2006, at the Astroballe in Villeurbanne, at the time when “TP” obviously wore the colors of San Antonio.

While waiting to, perhaps, see Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs set foot on its boards, the LDLC Arena should already have the opportunity to host a gala match from 2024, on the occasion of the retirement ceremony of Tony’s jersey Parker in the French team.
