Three teammates with more than 10 assists in the same match?!

Nikola Jokic (36 points, 22 rebounds, 11 assists) and Russell Westbrook (16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) both compiled a “triple-double” last night against the Jazz. Jamal Murray settled for a “double-double”, with 20 points and 10 assists.

Between them, the Nuggets All-Stars accumulated 31 of their team's 38 assists in the match!

Above all, all three of them exceeded the bar of ten offerings in the same match, which we don't often see. And for good reason, after verification on the Basket-Reference serversthis is only the 6th time…

A first in 32 years

This is also the first time that this has happened since 1992, and a Celtics match against the Blazers, in which John Bagley, Larry Bird And Dee Brown had all reached this threshold.

Previous occurrences are even more untraceable since in 1988, Frank Brickowski, Alvin Robertson And Jon Sundvold did it for the Spurs against the Nuggets.

Still in 1988, but two months earlier, Michael Adams, Bill Hanzlik And Fat Lever had done it for the Nuggets… against the Spurs. In 1979, Otis Birdsong, Sam Lacey, Billy McKinney achieved it for the Kansas City Kings against the Cavaliers.

Finally, in 1971, they were Jimmy Collins, Jim King And Bob Weiss who had already succeeded against the Chicago Bulls, against the Atlanta Hawks.
