Things got heated again between Draymond Green and Zach Edey

Third clash of the season between the Warriors and the Grizzlies, and third clash between the veteran Draymond Green and the rookie Zach Edey.

In November, the Golden State interior was caught by the patrol after blocking the foot of the Memphis pivot, who was going on a counterattack. A mistake which greatly annoyed Taylor Jenkins, the Tennessee coach, immediately triggering a knee-jerk reaction from the best defender of the year 2017.

A few days ago, for their second duel, the two men heated up again as they went up the field.

And for their third meeting, things got heated once again between the two men, after a fight on the rebound and a big foul by Draymond Green on his young opponent.

“He plays in the NBA”

“I didn’t like (the fault)” explained Zach Edey while the referees finally whistled a flagrant I foul on Draymond Green. “I don't like it when people grab me and touch me. Let him just let me go. »

As is often the case, the inside of the Warriors assured that they were only victims of their reputation.

“No, but it’s Draymond Green” he responded about whether his fault was a flagrant type I, or “unnecessary” contact. “That’s the only reason it’s a blatant foul.” »

And what does he think of Zach Edey? “He plays in the NBA” the Warrior simply replies. And its technical qualities? “He plays in the NBA. » Does he think the opposing center is a good player? “He plays in the NBA. » Next and last meeting of the season, at least in the regular season, April 1st
