Théo Maledon continues to have fun in the Euroleague

It is Paris Lee who made the decisive shot in Asvel's victory (80-78) against Real Madrid in the Euroleague, thus ending twenty years without success for the French club against the Spanish giant. But it's good Theo Maledon who was named MVP of the 13th day of the European competition, with a match of 23 points (7/12 on shots and 7/7 on throws), 7 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 interceptions and 6 fouls caused for 31 assessment !

The French leader thus received congratulations from Tony Parker in the locker room, the president of Asvel repeating that his player had been ” amazing. And I don't give compliments easily! »

Already three MVP trophies

Especially since this is the third time this season that the former Thunder, Hornets and Suns player has been named Euroleague one-day MVP. He was also there during the 4th day, following his 25 points (36 evaluation) in the victory against Baskonia, then during the 10th day (trophy shared with TJ Shorts) with 26 points (still 36 evaluation) in the victory against Red Star Belgrade.

Without forgetting that he also scored 31 points (37 rating) against Olympiakos, but with a defeat. Enough to put them in 6th place in the Euroleague scoring rankings, with an average of 18.0 points (55% success including 39% by far), between Sasha Vezenkov and Nigel Hayes-Davis. And 11th among passers (4.7).

For Théo Maledon, who is only 23 years old, it is in any case a nice return to Europe, he who had to return to the Old Continent after four years spent in the NBA, without managing to find a place there.
