The Wolves flex their muscles to win in Miami

Now with 20 wins in 25 matches, the Wolves are keeping pace with the Celtics at the top of the league. However, this was not written in the first period in Miami.

The start of the match was marked by the strong defenses of both teams, with a lot of lost balls. Back, Tyler Herro gives the Heat some air with his penetrations (33-22).

The two teams then exchange baskets, with another good pass from Tyler Herro and Anthony Edwards who shows up, after a discreet first act. The Heat returns to the locker room with the advantage (66-54). After the break, the Wolves defense increased pressure. Little by little, Rudy Gobert and his gang return (83-77).

Especially since the Heat are still showing their difficulties in the last quarter this season. Jimmy Butler and his team miss the target, and Mike Conley can hit 3-pointers. Minnesota goes in front and has the wind at its back, after a 16-5. Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro try to resist but Gobert and Edwards make the difference. The Wolves ensured free throws, winning 108-112 and thus signing a third victory in a row.

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER

– Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards take care of everything. The two Minnesota players dominated the last quarter, each in their role. The Frenchman was huge in defense, contesting a lot of shots. He finished this last act with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. The back had a discreet start to the match, he gained momentum and in nine minutes, he scored 10 points at 5/7 shooting.

– Miami misses its turn. The Heat suffer in the last act this season and the first minutes of the one against Minnesota demonstrate it brilliantly. Missed shots will multiply and Erik Spoelstra's troops only score two baskets in the first five minutes of the last act. The good dynamic has disappeared, Bam Adebayo is well muzzled by Rudy Gobert and Jimmy Butler, unlike the match against Chicago, does not weigh in this “money time”, with only four minutes played and no points scored in this fourth quarter…

– The Heat finds Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. Miami found two starters for this duel against the best team in the West. Absent for 18 games, Tyler Herro made a good comeback, with 25 points.
