According to ESPN, Isaiah Todd takes the direction of the Grizzlies in exchange for three future second rounds of Draft (2025, 2028 and 2029). The reason for this exchange? After the arrivals of Kevin Durant in February, then Bradley Beal, the Suns no longer had any control over their Draft choices until 2030!
For example, the Wizards received six future second draft rounds and the option to trade four first draft rounds. For their part, in the trade including Kevin Durant, the Nets had received four first unprotected draft rounds and the possibility of exchanging their first round in 2028.
In this small exchange, Memphis wins the right to exchange its first Draft rounds in 2024 and 2030, if it is less well placed than those of the Suns and Wizards.
