The Sun is disappointed by the lack of media coverage of the match at TD Garden.

A total success since it was played to a sold-out crowd, in front of 19,125 people, at the TD Garden in Boston, the WNBA match between the Connecticut Sun and the Los Angeles Sparks won over the players. Everyone was happy. Except maybe DiJonai Carrington…

Sun player believes Connecticut franchise is suffering “historically disrespectful” and that, “Sometimes if you want things done, you have to do them yourself. That's what we did.”. So much so that she believes the WNBA did not do enough to highlight this historic match.

“I think we could have done more publicity, more promotion at the top. Connecticut has been advertising this game for almost a year. We had plenty of time to do things.”, does she regretwhile a few hours before being on the floor, she had tweeted this : “Since we have to do our own promotion, we're playing at TD Garden tonight and there's going to be over 19,000 people.”

Because while the crowd was thrilled to watch a WNBA game in an NBA arena, not all viewers in the United States were so lucky. To watch the game, you had to have the WNBA League Pass.

“This match should have been broadcast on national television. In my opinion, we should not pay a subscription to see a historic match.”laments DiJonai Carrington, who does not forget the success of this event. “It doesn't matter anyway, the crowd was there, it was full and we won. So I think my tweet worked.”
