The Sixers are already extending Daryl Morey!

At the heart of the news throughout the summer with the James Harden soap opera, Daryl Morey is rewarded for his work as president since ESPN announces that management has decided to reward him with a three-year contract extension. Former leader of the Rockets, Morey is now linked to the Sixers until 2028. Exactly like Nick Nurse, and this will allow them to perfect their relationship.

Arriving in 2020 for a five-year contract, Morey allowed the Sixers to win 65% of their meetings, and the managers believe that he is the right man to bring the title back to Philadelphia, where we no longer have been champion since 1983. For this, he had to manage several big files with the departure of Ben Simmons, exchanged for James Harden. Before this same Harden called him a “liar” and asked to leave the Clippers.

We also owe him the dismissal of Doc Rivers, and the recruitment of Nick Nurse whose style appeals to the players, and more particularly to Joel Embiid.

On arrival, the Sixers seem much calmer and above all better equipped to enter the title race.
