For his first year in the league, he played the entire season. Even before the start of this 2023/24 financial year, Tari Eason knows that he will not be able to play all 82 matches.
Indeed, Ime Udoka confirmed to Houston Chronicle that the Rockets center will miss the first two or three weeks of the season because of a stress fracture in his left leg.
Tari Eason, who averaged 9.3 points and 6 rebounds last season, missed the last three games of the preseason and the Rockets then spoke of a simple contusion. But the tests showed that it was a fracture and this type of injury can unfortunately linger for a while, since only rest can heal.
It is the veteran Jeff Green who will, coming off the bench, take advantage of this absence to have a little more playing time.
