The Rockets crack again at the end of the match against the Heat

With numerous offensive rebounds to offer themselves second chances, the Rockets managed to keep pace with the Heat in the first quarter and that of the points of Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro (27-31). The two teams exchanged baskets throughout the second quarter and remained very close when entering the locker room at the break (50-53).

Then Houston stepped on the gas, starting the third quarter with a 16-4 lead. Tyler Herro and Jalen Green are launched into a duel from a distance and the first allows Miami to come back before the last act (82-81).

Fred VanVleet takes over from his teammate, with his award-winning baskets, but it is still Tyler Herro who must be silenced. And no one on the Rockets can do it.

The back takes charge in the money time, Nikola Jovic then drives home the point at 3-points and as if that wasn't enough, Fred VanVleet is then penalized for taking too long to take a throw-in Everything collapses for Ime Udoka's men, and nervousness takes over, with the start of a fight between Amen Thompson and Tyler Herro. Tempers heat up, but it is the Heat who win this game (100-104).

WHAT TO REMEMBER

– The Rockets crack again at the worst time. They had a lead against the Wolves but lost, notably because of Anthony Edwards' 3-point shot. There too, the Texans were in control, during the third quarter, before giving up ground. The fault is a clumsiness which does not allow the match to be killed. A second defeat in a row with a bitter taste for Ime Udoka and his players.

– A game that ends in a fight. Would Amen Thompson have expressed his frustration? That's what Tyler Herro thinks as the two men were at the center of a tense moment in the final seconds. The first grabbed the second's jersey before throwing it to the ground. A scrum then forms, between the players, the referees and the assistant coaches. Result: Tyler Herro, Amen Thompson and Ime Udoka are expelled, as are Terry Rozier, Jalen Green and Ben Sullivan, one of Houston's assistants.
