Unlike other franchises that have their own training center, for 20 years the Rockets have been training on a parquet floor within the confines of their hall, the Toyota Center.
But this situation will change announced Tilman Fertitta, the owner of the franchise. He slipped this information during Ime Udoka’s presentation press conference, answering a question about the Rockets’ spending since taking over in 2017.

That center, as Tilman Fertitta told reporters, is going to cost the Rockets $70 million. The same amount as that paid by the Magic for its own, inaugurated last summer, but 25 million more than that of the Suns built in 2020.
