The “flashy” colors have helped make the success of the Signature collection of Lamelo Ball At Puma. Released in 2023, the MB.01 “Golden Child” had notably been one of the striking colors of the Lamelo Ball signature shoe.
Here it is back to dress the MB.04, and like the previous version, there is no shortage of gold touches! We find it on the sole, on the patterns covering the front of the pair and of course on the tab to complete a base in beige.
As is the case for several colors, the heel is used to reveal a new logo. This time, we find a lamelo ball drawn like an angel, accompanied by the “LF” logo of his brand “La Francé”.
The MB.04 “Golden Child” does not yet have an official release date, but we can hope to see it on the market in the month of February at the usual price.
Our mb.04 verdict
Puma gradually knew how to erect the “MB” brand with a reference rank and had come close to perfection with the release of the MB.03, a favorite Basketa from last season. There was therefore no question of upsetting a proven formula, responding to all the technical characteristics, in terms of grip, amortized, comfort but also maintenance.
The MB.04 brings few innovations, taking up the same sole and a similar design, on which the finishes were reviewed. The model is therefore nonetheless exceptional, especially with regard to its price, but the surprise effect tends to fade.
This MB.04 could then complete the end of a cycle by a last big success, before floor to all new trajectories for the rest of its signature line.
